Position: Malaysia Branch Establishment for a Medical Device Sales Company

・Develop a mid-term business plan for the Malaysia branch (Company Strategy),
including: Market analysis, organizational structuring, resource allocation, P&L analysis, etc.
・Based on the business plan, create and structure the organizational framework
・Oversee company operations (understand and communicate with the company secretary regarding board meetings, shareholder meetings, etc., financial management, and establishing internal operational rules)
・Manage employees (implement HR development and performance evaluation systems)
・Build relationships with Agencies (Southeast Asia region oversight)
・Establish a compliance and risk management framework
・Maintain close communication with the executives and managers at the Japanese headquarters

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

Priority (in order of importance):

【Must】
✓Experience in establishing or operating a company; overall experience in company management is highly desirable
(For example, experience in board meetings and shareholder meetings, and the ability to communicate with the company secretary)
✓Experience in organizational management and leadership (10+ years), with a background as a General Manager or Senior Manager
✓Experience in B2B business and international business (sales, marketing, business planning)
✓Work experience in a global or Japanese manufacturer (in a managerial position)

【Preferred】
✓Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
✓Knowledge of medical device importation and sales (including understanding of the Malaysian market and IVD regulations)
✓Native-level proficiency in the local language (Malay)
✓Japanese speaker is preferred
