◆Interpretation　Duties

・Interpretation during regular classes taught by Japanese instructors, trial lessons （as part of student recruitment activities）, special classes for internal and external audiences, online lessons from Japanese sister schools, and events featuring guest speakers from Japan.

・Interpretation for meetings with visitors or contractors.

・Interpretation during internal meetings and discussions, including support for daily communication among staff.

・Supporting students with questions outside of class hours.

・Assisting in student recruitment activities during external events such as education fairs.

・Providing interpretation services between Japanese staff and Malaysian counterparts for various other necessary situations.

◆Translation Duties

・Translating documents to be submitted to government agencies such as the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

・Supporting correspondence with Japanese sister schools through email and other forms of communication.

◆Other Duties
・Supporting various departments (Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Public Relations, Career Support Center, etc.) with administrative tasks as needed, upon consultation.

・This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to facilitate smooth communication across language and cultural barriers.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Experienced in Japanese-English interpretation.

✓ Bachelor’s degree or higher.(Prefer education, art, Japanese culture background)

✓ Capable of translating official documents (Malay language proficiency is a plus).

✓ Preferable: Experience or strong interest in the education field.

✓ Skilled in consecutive interpretation for large audiences.

✓ Proficient in basic computer operations.

✓ Excellent communication skills.
