・To handle shipping and logistics documents, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations and safety standards.

・To coordinate both internally with various departments and externally with related parties on shipping-related issues.

・To manage and resolves issues related to shipment delays, container damage or incidences.

・To monitor shipping status and provide regular updates to all related parties via telecommunications and / or email to ensure import documents / permits are ready prior to the vessel's arrival / departure

・To source quote and review shipping and logistics documents (import and export shipments) for contract terms.

・To review service performances of logistic vendor

・To assists in Demurrage & Detention cost and responsibility analysis, negotiation for increase in Demurrages & Detention days etc.

・To review Logistics and inventory related reports and internal applications

・To attend Physical inventory counts.

・To review preparation of the insurance renewal and advise on shipping related insurance issues.

・To arrange for insurer adjusters / Independent bodies / Surveyors for cargo reported / received in damaged condition to mitigate business risk.

・To guide and train related parties on various Logistic related process and documentation and

・To handle GHG reporting.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Candidate must have at least a Degree in logistic or any other related field.

✓Minimum 5 -10 years of working experience in Logistic management or logistic industry

✓Familiar with Malaysian customs procedures and required shipping documents

✓Broad experience in shipping , importing, customs, and other related matters

✓Resourceful and independent with good initiative, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and

✓A mature team player with good analytical abilities and communication skills.
