Japanese/English Translator, Interpreter and Administrator for business operations in Malaysia, the position holder is required to facilitate conversation between Japanese and local engineers and ensure that the translations or interpretations are accurately performed.

■Interpretation:

• Provide high proficiency level of interpretation between Japanese engineers and local engineers during daily business operations.

• Follow Japanese engineers to client’s manufacturing plant to closely support all business-related conversation.

• Facilitate effective business communication and carry out interpretation during internal and external meetings.

• Administer interpretation support to Japanese engineers on their accommodation and relocation.

■Translation:
• Provide high proficiency level of language translations (from English to Japanese and vice versa) on a variety of business documents

• Translate documents such as product technical information, work instructions, technical check sheets, action plans, bulletins, emails, special training materials and official documents from Japanese to English.

■Administrative assistance

Provide general administrative support to Japanese engineers including but not limited to:
　• Assist in work permit applications
　• Administer and resolve any potential issues/changes pertaining to travel arrangements and hotel/apartment booking

• Track and manage arrival and departure schedules of Japanese and other visitors to client’s site

• Follow Japanese staff to attend appointments on interpretation and process of documents such as registration of housing, medical, bank, etc.

• Provide day-to-day on-site administrative support

• Any other job assigned by General Manager and/or management.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE応募資格

✓Diploma or Degree in translation, interpretation, business administration or any relevant field

✓ At least 3 years of related working experience

✓ Proficient in Business Japanese (JLPT N1)

✓High proficiency in spoken and written English

✓ Excellent computer skills including MS Office

✓ Possess a Malaysian driving license
