- Manage lease administration for offices and production sites in the region in collaboration with Regional and Local Finance, and Real Estate Managers in Hub and Countries.
- Secure professional standards in documentation and contracts related to BASF’s real estate. Manage BASF’s global databases (RE/FX) in close cooperation with global REFM (GBH/SY).
- Drive regional benchmarking initiatives and support global benchmarking initiatives e.g. Global Office Benchmark.
- Monitor FM costs and performance of IFM vendors across APAC to identify improvement and optimization opportunities.
- Support and coordinate requests for updates of periodic reports to stakeholders per corporate requirements.
- Maintain and monitor database of market rent and comparables to support analysis on lease transaction
- Support functional cost management, including budgeting.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Financial Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or other related disciplines.
- Working Experience: 5 years plus, preferably in large multinational corporation with footprint across APAC.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Broad knowledge on the business of Real Estate. Knowledge of Facilities Management/IFM is a plus. Strong business sense. Superb analytical skills (attention to detail is key). Critical thinking and understanding of large datasets. Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, apply systematic logic, and draw valid conclusions.
- Other: Strong communication skills.
- IT: Highly proficient in Excel, Finance & Controlling Systems, ideally user knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse and RE/FX. Proficient in PowerPoint.
