JOB DETAILJob Details
・ Provide local IT support and administration to the staff based in the KL, Malaysia office and remote support to staff in the other offices in the APAC region
・ Install, configure, support and troubleshoot software application and services
・ Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for desktops / laptops / tablets / phones.
・ Installation, maintenance and support of applications, printers etc.
・ Perform root cause analysis, repairing system software, troubleshooting performance issues, OS configuration and hardware failures
・ Schedule and implement new user orientation on the operation of PC and navigation to network resources
・ Maintain inventory assignment history of all IT equipment and technical documentation
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓At least 3 years’ experience in a technical support/desktop support function
✓Strong PC troubleshooting skills (software and hardware)
✓Customer focused, ‘think outside the box’, methodical and well organized
✓Self-motivated, pro-active and willing to learn
✓Good interpersonal and communication skills
✓Basic networking knowledge with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPN, CATO
✓Technical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, iOS, Android
✓Standard Microsoft desktop technology (Office365, Microsoft Teams, …)
✓Understanding of Windows Active Directory Services
