・Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports in timely manner.

・Ensure smooth month-end closing and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies.

・Supervises the day-to-day operational matters and functions of the team to ensure orderly & prompt transactions are booked in accordance to approved accounting standards.

・Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of Accounting Procedures.

・Assist in preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast review process.

・Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company’s long-term objectives.

・Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, bankers and statutory bodies for yearly audit and Tax filing, including additional ad-hoc queries and supporting documentation.

・Stay updated on financial & tax regulations and ensure adherence to accounting & tax standards.

・Liaise & communicate with different Departments.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ACCA / CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification recognised by MIA;

✓Minimum 5 years of working experience preferably in an accounting firm and/or medium sized commercial organization

✓Experienced in overseeing and reviewing works done by the finance team

✓Possess good leadership, interpersonal and communication skill, responsible, independent and self-motivated

✓High level of integrity, meticulous and proven analytical problem-solving skills

✓Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus

✓Well versed in Focus / SAP Accounting Software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

✓Good knowledge of international financial reporting standards
