✓ Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends in the fuel sector, contributing valuable insights for strategic decision-making

✓ Continuously assess market conditions and customer feedback to adapt business strategies and initiatives

✓ Lead and manage key fuel-related projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives, industry standards and regulatory requirements

✓ Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution, meeting deadlines to achieve set goals

✓ Act as a liaison between various departments, stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective
communication and collaboration on business development and project delivery

✓ Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery, quality control and adherence to budget

✓ Assist with energy audits and surveys, providing recommendations for corrective actions and improvements

✓ Ensure all audits and energy assessments comply with local and international sustainability and energy regulations

✓ Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s energy regulations, as well as relevant international standards

✓ Manage licensing applications, ensuring all regulatory approvals are secured and maintained

✓ Stay up-to-date with global industry trends, sustainable development practices and energy-saving technologies to promote eco-friendly initiatives within the fuel business

✓ Implement best practices for sustainability and share knowledge to improve operational efficiency

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field

✓ Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage

✓ Minimum 3 years of experience working in the fuel industry, with a proven track record in business development or project management

✓ Proven success and experience in managing projects and driving business growth, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle management

✓ Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

✓ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients and industry stakeholders

✓ A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

✓ Good understanding of energy management, sustainability and compliance requirements

✓ Good written and verbal language skill in English and Bahasa Melayu; and ability to converse in Japanese is an added advantage

✓ Possess a valid driving license and willingness to travel both locally and internationally
