As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for supporting daily IT operations across both retail stores and the head office. Your role includes maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting essential store systems such as POS, inventory management, and attendance systems to ensure a smooth and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
・Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment (e.g., PCs, POS systems, printers, Wi-Fi) at both stores and the head office
・Provide operational support for POS, inventory, and attendance systems
・Handle IT helpdesk queries from store and office staff
・Install, update, and manage software and hardware, including license tracking
・Oversee the network environment between stores and the head office, resolving connectivity issues
・Coordinate with external IT vendors for support when needed
・Conduct regular system backups and implement necessary security measures
・Support the setup and deployment of IT infrastructure for new store openings
・Maintain and update internal IT manuals and operational guidelines
・Assist in IT-related projects as assigned
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓Who can business trip to Johor Bahru
✓ Degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field
✓ 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
✓ Strong troubleshooting skills for networks, PCs, and peripheral devices
✓ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS setup and configuration
✓ Business-level English communication skills (Japanese language skills are a plus)
✓ Experience in IT support within the retail or service industry is a plus
Preferred
✓ Experience with POS systems or retail management systems
✓ Knowledge of Google Workspace and cloud-based tools
✓ Experience in vendor coordination and IT asset management
✓ IT support experience across multiple locations
