1. Involve in preparation of the forecasting. budgeting and managing internal control related to SOX compliance.
2. Managing sales and corporate accounting function in related to the monthly closing, report submission,
journal posting, credit control, inventory, payable, tax, audit matters, etc.
There will be job rotation within the department depending on candidate capabilities and exposure.
3. Improve accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
4. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
5. Increase the functional efficiency and provide guidance and coaching to junior staff.
6. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by the management from time-to-time
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Certificate in Accountancy or equivalent with a minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role, preferably within the same industry.
2. Fast learner, proactive working attitude and good personality.
3. Good communication, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, law and regulation.
5. Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
6. Advanced computer skills on MS Office and SAP knowledge will be added advantage
7. Have a background audit experience will be added advantage (but this is not compulsory).
