Director, Research & Development (R&D)


・コーティングフィン製品における、会社のビジョンおよび市場ニーズに沿った研究開発（R&D）戦略の立案および実行

・業界動向、最新技術、競合他社の開発状況を常に把握し、とくにマイクロエレクトロニクス分野における塗装・コーティング技術の進化に対応しながら競争力を維持

・新製品（塗料）のプロセスフローを再設計し、コスト競争力の高い製品開発および市場をリードする技術開発を推進

・アルミ製品・塗装関連製品の新規開発を企画段階から量産・顧客承認まで一貫してリード（設計・試験・生産立ち上げを含む）

・標準的なエンジニアリング手法の応用や改善を通じて、非定型課題に対する技術的判断・問題解決を主導

・生産、営業、マーケティングなどの他部門と連携し、R&D活動が事業目標と整合するよう調整

・製品管理チームと連携し、開発スケジュールを管理するとともに、R&D予算の策定と効率的な資源活用を推進

・社内コミュニケーション（運用上の課題や進捗の定期共有）および社外コミュニケーション（新規塗装技術の開発・実験）をリードし、塗料の品質・付加価値向上に向けたフィードバックサイクルを確立

・全ての製品およびプロセスが国内外の規制に準拠するよう管理し、厳格な品質管理・品質保証体制を実施

・カスタマーサービス部門を統括し、生産性、応答速度、サービス品質に関する指標をモニタリング・レポート

・ Develop and implement the R&D strategy aligned with the company's vision and market demands for coated fin.

・ Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor developments to maintain a competitive edge particularly, in the microelectronics sector, where new technological developments are occurring continuously specifically in paint coating technology.

・ Deliver & re-engineer process flow to ensure new products (paint) are cost competitive & consistently staying ahead of market.

・ Lead new product development activities from inception to product launch and customer acceptance including overseeing the design, testing, and production of new aluminium/coating related products.

・ Provide leadership and guidance for non-routine problems requiring substantial judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.

・ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment of R&D projects with business objectives.

・ Track project schedules in conjunction with product management preparing to manage the R&D budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

・ Take charge in the internal communication – to discuss the current issues in operations, daily and weekly and external communication – to experiment /develop new type of coating. Review feedback for continuous improvement on paint for added value.

・ Ensure all products and processes comply with local and international regulations and implement rigorous quality control and assurance practices.

・ Responsible to oversee and manage Customer Service department, including monitoring and reporting metrics such as productivity, response speed and any metric which affect the quality of service.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE応募資格

✓ 工学（その他専攻）、プロジェクトマネジメント、研究開発、またはそれに関連する分野での学士号、大学院ディプロマ、または同等の専門資格を有する方

✓ アルミニウム合金、押出成形プロセス、表面処理に関する深い知識を有する方

✓アルミニウム／アルミコーティング分野の専門知識をお持ちの方歓迎

✓ 関連分野で 10〜15年以上の実務経験 を有する方

✓ 複数部門にまたがる組織を統率し、複雑な業務を統合的にリードできるマネジメント能力

✓ 高い数値分析力・論理的思考力を持ち、先見性があり、優れた対人スキルを備えている方

✓ 優れたコミュニケーション力、問題解決力、戦略的思考力を有する方

✓ 英語：社内コミュニケーション可能なレベル

✓Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Others), Project Management, Research Development or equivalent.

✓At least 10 - 15 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

✓Ability to lead a direct team and a multifunctional organization, integrating complex efforts across multiple business areas.

✓Strong knowledge of aluminium alloys, extrusion processes, and surface treatments.

✓Proficient in numerical and analytical skills, forward-thinking, and good interpersonal skills.

✓Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

✓Japanese native level
