* To oversee the day to day completion of IT related activities & tasks for all internal & external IT personnel; based on urgency and priority of each case* To ensure that all IT cases recorded into the case tracker is distributed to the rightly skilled resource and completed within the timeline agreed* To check through the design, development and modification of codes by developers and database administrators through scientific analysis in order to ensure that changes to all inhouse software have followed appropriate validation procedures and programming* To carry out weekly meetings to discuss the progress status of cases, to address delays in case completion and workload management of resources* To monitor the performance of all team members, providing and documenting performance feedback based on weekly progress status meetings

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

* Candidate must possess a Degree in the field of Information Technology. * A minimum of 10 years experiences in management role, with at least 5 years in managing a team of Java Developers and Database Administrators. * Required Technical skills: Java based web services, Relational Databases, SQL and ORM, J2EE framework, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, JSP, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), XML,X query, XSL, Test-Driven Development. * Knowledge in management of cloud servers, network and systems administration. * Experiences in the areas of 3PL Operations, Freight Management, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management and Fleet Management will be an added advantage
