・Manage Logistics related processes within each stated jurisdiction. These include:
Import & Export Operations, Customs brokerage compliance, Freight Forwarder, and Carrier Management, Cost Management and Cost Reduction programs
・It covers any class of movement including Sales, Reverse Logistics, Non-Revenue, Spare parts and demonstration, Customer trial, and marketing movements.
・This may also include requiring research and set up of shipping lanes into emerging markets & countries that fall within the North Asia jurisdiction taking into account carrier choice, customs and importation/exportation considerations, costs, and process compliance.
・The role will also manage all logistics aspects of large scale ‘Submarine’ projects that require equipment deliveries to multiple countries simultaneously.
・Manage the critical Logistics payables process flows for each jurisdiction including the key Japan account, managing the MUFG Bank Account admin, NACCs including Logistics Payables & Cost Management escalations, and compliance reporting.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

・Bachelors Degree or equivalent with minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience.
・Well versed with APAC import/export regulations.
・Some knowledge of U.S. import/export regulation.
・Must have minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with international logistics within the North Asia region and within the countries listed in particular Japan Operations.
・Must be experienced with North Asia import/export regulations.
・Must be able to work with multiple departments (Sales, Project, Purchasing, Shipping, Accounts Payable)
・Willingness to positively contribute to the overall success of the logistics team and go the extra mile during periods of high demand such as Quarter end or during key project phases.
