1. Technical Proposal & AWS Solution Architecture Design

Gather and analyze customers’ current system environments and business/technical challenges
Design optimal AWS cloud architectures (Migration, Modernization, Security, Data & Analytics, DevOps, etc.)
Prepare system architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and solution documentation

2. Sales Support & Customer-Facing Technical Engagement

Lead the technical aspects of proposal activities in collaboration with sales teams
Conduct technical discussions with customers, gather requirements, and respond to technical inquiries
Provide technical support for proposal presentations and Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives

3. Cost Estimation & Cloud Optimization Proposals

Prepare high-level WS cost estimations
Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) comparisons between on-premises and cloud environments
Propose cost optimization strategies using Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and other AWS pricing models

4. Technical Risk Assessment & Feasibility Validation

Assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
Identify migration complexity, constraints, and system dependencies
Evaluate alignment with security and compliance requirements

5. Collaboration with Delivery Teams & Handover

Provide technical handover of the solution design to delivery teams after project award
Continue to support complex projects as a technical advisor when required

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
✓ Experience
5–8 years of experience in cloud solution architecture, IT consulting, system integration, or pre-sales engineering, with hands-on involvement in AWS-based projects.
✓ Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of core AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Data & Analytics) and experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
✓ Pre-Sales Capability
Experience supporting sales with technical proposals, customer presentations, solution documentation, and cost estimations (including TCO discussions).
✓ Communication
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams and AWS partners.
