• Overseeing the Costing team on all daily, monthly and quarterly activities related to Global team and IPH plant.
• Act as the main person in charge to train and monitor the daily, monthly and quarterly closing activities within the costing team.
• Review all the journal prepare by the costing team members to ensure the requirement are submit accurately and on time.
• Managing and coordinating with respective departments eg Production, IE, planning and etc to complete forecasting process and projects activities.
• Provide expertise and advice to managers/planners/ engineers to help them develop budget, understand financial report and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Perform product costing (cost model), standard cost review, labour & overhead and product variances analysis.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
• Degree in Accounting or Finance/Professional Qualification in Accounting (CIMA/ACCA)
• Minimum 6 years related experience. Exposure to Cost Accounting and MNC manufacturing environment.
• Have a strong Cost systems background in job costing or process costing and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Experienced in Oracle and Hyperion is a must.
• Strong analytical skills and excel skills, meticulous, organised and attention to detail.
• A team player, self-starter with good communication skill and able to meet tight deadline.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. In view of business needs, those who have proficiency in Mandarin will have an added advantage.
