• Track and record vessels’ operating expenses, docking expenses, port costs; verify bills for approval on a voyage
and/or monthly basis.

• Track and record vessels’ activities, both at sea and in port; and to monitor vessels’ voyage performance.

• Track and record delivery of spares, stores, bunkers, surveys, repairs etc. on vessels; matching against respective
purchase orders as in the vessel operating accounts.

• Verify purchase orders, match against delivery orders, and check/address any irregularities.

• Compute estimate and actual time charter equivalent (charter base) prior to and after every voyage. Analyse and
report variances between actual and estimate results.

• Verify monthly accounts and detect/address any irregularities.

• Prepare any other relevant reports, findings and/or analysis.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of working experience in finance and/or cost control.

• Excellent with numbers.

• Highly analytical and high attention to details.

• Knowledge in shipping regulations and best practices will be an added advantage.
