・Plans in close cooperation with the Sales Leader an aggressive sales campaign to ensure sales, profits and growth budgets are met, and then implements it.

・Carries out sales visits to customers in accordance with the sales plan, and provides advice/support to customers on a range of Xylem’s products, attempting to match customer needs with engineered solutions.

・Analyses sources of tender information and future construction projects and follows up on leads.

・Prepares sales orders, reports and paperwork to satisfy branch and customer requirements.

・Provides input to the Regional team and attends sales meetings as required, and completes written and verbal reports as required by the Sales Leader.

・Ensures all pricing policies are followed, and ensures compliance with Xylem’s Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies and procedures.

・Prepares mail outs for new product information and updates.

・Other duties as required/determined to assist functionality of the company.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Diploma/Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering

✓at least 5 years experience in water / wastewater treatment

✓strong networking in water / water waste treatment

✓experience in sales planning and strategy plan

✓experience in sales forecast / prepare reporting

✓Experience in Demonstrated experience in a sales/marketing capacity, with exposure to business management principles, preferably in an engineering environment.

✓An understanding of the pump and/or water and wastewater industry combined with qualifications in the area of management/marketing/engineering or a sound mechanical and mathematical aptitude is desirable.
