JOB DETAILJob Details
・Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up / Authorities on leads. Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
・Assist Salesperson to prepare quotations pertaining to Airfreight, Seafreight, Trucking, Warehousing, etc according to customers' requirements.
・Requisition and negotiation of rates from Airlines, GSA, Shipping Lines, NVOCC and other sub-contractors.
・To assist BM on ISO matters.
・To send Circulars to Customers, Business Associates, HEX/HHE Overseas Group companies and Agents.
・To reply inquiries from customers esp. when salesperson is not available and reply to overseas inquiries.
・To prepare Monthly Tonnage Report and other sales related statistics.
・To assist Branch Manager and Head of Business Development dept. in achieving the company goals and objective. Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
・To perform tasks given by Superior as and when ordered.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓Minimum SPM or Diploma holders in Sales / Marketing / Mass Communications / Business Administration / Transport or equivalent.
✓Ability to write and converse effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language is an added advantage.
✓Must be computer literate (MS Words, Excel & PowerPoint).
✓Pleasant personality with good analytical, inter-personal and communication skills and ability to interact well at all levels.
✓Knowledge of freight forwarding or logistics industry (Airfreight, Sea freight, Trucking or Warehousing) is an added advantage.
✓Highly motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
✓Possess own transport with valid license.
