・Lead new business development activities for the Company

・Gather the need from the stakeholders; and make business plan for each customers and execute the plan by collaborating with the global branches

・Act as a Project Manager of each projects and establish a strong relationship with fostering collaboration with the authorities, key suppliers and customers

・Responsible for leading procurement activities related to sourcing, purchasing, contracting of materials, equipment, and services essential for renewable energy projects

・Play a pivotal role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to sustainability and regulatory requirements

・Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, budget constraints and sustainability goals

・Identify and qualify suppliers, vendors and subcontractors capable of meeting project requirements and specifications

・Analyze cost structures, conduct price benchmarking and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement

・Monitor and control procurement expenses, tracking actual spending against budgeted allocations and forecasting future requirements

・Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards

・Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations and quality issues.

・Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize potential disruptions to project timelines and budgets

・Stay informed about market trends, geopolitical developments and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities

・Ensure the Company complies with the related laws and regulations on renewable energy

・Undertake adhoc or any other assignment, as and when required by immediate superior and/or the top management

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Management or Supply Chain management or Engineering or related field

✓ At least 5 years’ work experience in renewable energy, solar or related industry

✓ Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy industry

✓ Strong negotiation skills and contract management expertise, with a track record of delivering cost savings and value-added solutions

✓ Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and project lifecycles including solar, wind, hydro or energy storage, etc

✓ Strong leadership qualities, result oriented, dynamic personality, good follow through and possess good organisational skills

✓ Excellent team player, self motivated, positive mindset and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and minimum supervision

✓ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and stakeholders

✓ Good written and verbal language skill in English and Bahasa Melayu; and ability to converse in Japanese

✓Proficiency in computer skills including Ms Office
