We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead the sales of water and wastewater treatment systems within the plant business segment. This role combines technical sales, customer engagement, and in-depth contract coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal engineering, and legal teams to develop tailored solutions while ensuring commercial and contractual compliance.


• Manage the full sales cycle for water treatment system projects, from lead generation to contract signing, in both domestic and international markets

• Conduct technical consultations with clients to identify requirements and propose suitable treatment solutions based on technologies

• Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals, cost estimates, system layouts, and project schedules

• Review and negotiate contractual terms and conditions, including scope of work, payment terms, delivery milestones, performance guarantees, and LD clauses

• Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineering, legal, procurement, and project management) to ensure feasibility and risk mitigation in proposals and contracts

• Support bidding and tender processes for public and private-sector water treatment projects

• Ensure smooth handover of signed projects to the execution teams, providing all technical and contractual documentation

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government bodies to promote future business opportunities

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Engineering, or related field

✓ Minimum 5years of experience in technical sales or business development in the water treatment or plant
engineering field

✓ Familiarity with FIDIC or similar international contract structures

✓ Experience working with government tenders or infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia

✓ Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, systems, and equipment

✓ Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts, particularly in EPC or equipment supply projects

✓ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

✓ Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Japanese or other Asian languages a plus

✓ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project-related activities
