・ Responsible for the full employment cycle including job posting, liaison with recruitment
agencies, interviews, and preparing and conducting onboarding and training programs.
• Establish company policies and procedures, rules and regulations, and review and revise
them from time to time ensuring compliance to the local laws and business directions.
• Develop and facilitate performance appraisal, computing annual increment and bonus
payment for MD’s approval.
• Administer Japanese Expatriate remunerations, welfare, income tax matters, and liaison
with tax consultants for the filing of tax returns.
• Liaise with agents about the foreign workers matters.
• Responsible for renewal of insurance policies ensuring adequate coverage and handling
submission of insurance claims.
• Responsible for manpower planning, annual salary, recruitment, training, employees’
welfare, and operations budget. Monitor the expense accordingly.
• Oversee, check, and ensure payroll is computed accurately and processed timely.
• Perform periodic market surveys for salary and fringe benefits to ensure all are within the
market range.
• Handles employee disciplinary, PIP, and industrial relation matters including engaging in
collective bargaining, and industrial disputes.
• Plan and manage employee engagement activities such as annual events etc.
• Responsible for planning and managing training and development of talents, talent
retention, and succession planning.
• Involvement in the ISO 9001 Quality System, procedures update, monitor, and ensure
achieving department objectives set forth.
• Oversee administration and general affairs, IT, and office systems.
• Ensure smooth office operations and well-maintained employee welfare.
• Handle ad hoc projects assigned by superior.
• Adherence and enforcement of safety & health policies and procedures.
• Participate in the 5S implementation, cultivate, and practice 5S at all times.
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓ Possess at least a Degree level in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, psychology, or equivalent.
• With over 8 years’ relevant experience of which at least 3 years at managerial level in a
unionized manufacturing environment.
• Well versed in Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act, SOCSO, EPF, and other statutory.
• Good knowledge in change management and problem-solving.
• Able to give constructive advice to the Management related to human resource management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• With leadership quality, ability to coach and motivate the team.
• Meticulous, able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of IT network management is an added advantage.
• Experience in using HRMS systems.
