A) Assets, Liabilities and Equities
Direct and control WAKOMAS Group's orientation in managing the company's assets, liabilities and equities, in line with WAKOMAS Group's long-term interests by setting prudent targets and introducing innovative asset management plans and interventions that will maximise returns and value creation.

B) Technology, operating tools and methodologies
To determine and institute a fit-for-purpose organisational framework in managing and optimising human resources, information technology assets, operating tools and methodologies to enhance and sustain WAKOMAS Group's operational excellence and competitive edge that will consistently draw customers' satisfaction and confidence.

C) Intervention Programmes
To adopt and enforce a distinctive approach in the delivery of quality and excellence in business productivity through determining and introducing appropriate interventions such as Brand Values, Quality Management tools, Customer-Relations Management Systems, Value-based Management methodologies that promote and instil a high sense of commitment, ownership, integrity and loyalty among WAKOMAS Group employees.

D) Sales and Marketing
Direct and control commercial priorities in the supply, marketing and sales of all WAKOMAS Group products to achieve the targeted business portfolios by evaluating and setting aggressive targets to enhance WAKOMAS Group positioning vis-a-vis local and global market and industry trends.


E) Sales Negotiation
1. Develop effective product pricing strategies by capitalising on market intelligence and balancing WAKOMAS Group business objectives and customer requirements to maximise profit margins.
2. Develop negotiation strategies by setting desired quantities, optimum specifications, and pricing targets to ensure fruitful and effective conclusions to all sales negotiations to sustain and enhance the company's high profitability.
3. Develop teamwork, demonstrating shared goals and values. Provide leadership guidance and support to all regional leaders in other countries' branches.
4. Monitor, review, encourage and guide the whole of the New Business Development Team to achieve its plan and the individual staff's KPIs.

F) Research and Development
To lead the development of technical product specifications in consultation with Technical Services through negotiations of sales terms and conditions and facilitating product assurance to meet customer requirements and achieve targeted sales.

G) Capability Building
Champion the development of dynamic and talented leaders and workforce to enhance and sustain WAKOMAS Group capabilities in achieving high-performance delivery and internal succession. Role model and provide leadership, coaching and guidance to subordinates to ensure they internalise the right behaviours, mindset and capabilities in executing their jobs.

H) Overseas Office Management
To ensure proper management of all overseas offices.

I) Special Aspect
1. To develop the ALL staff's skills and competencies and ensure staff training and developments are comprehensively organised and effectively implemented.
2. Must be energetic and have strong networking skills for intelligence gathering. A solid interpersonal relationship is essential.

J) Others
Perform other ad-hoc jobs and responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Fifteen (15) years of working experience, with at least ten (10) years relevant experience in general/senior management capacity, leading the New Business Development department.

✓Have proven experience as a General Manager of New Business Development in the trading industry.

✓Track record of building and developing a solid, high-performance New Business Development team.

✓Commercial knowledge.

✓Exposure to International Markets, such as China, Singapore, Vietnam, and other market niches, is a great advantage.
