・ Develop new furniture products from concept to production, including prototype development, bill-of-materials (BOM) and testing.

• Analyze and improve existing furniture products to enhance their quality and cost-effectiveness.

• Work with the production team to identify and resolve technical issues during production, including troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as product specifications, BOM, and assembly instruction.

• Conduct testing and analysis to ensure product performance meets company standards, including material testing and product safety testing.

• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and customers to identify and implement new product ideas and improvements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in furniture technology, including researching and evaluating new materials and manufacturing processes.

• Manage project timelines and deliverables, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related technical field.

• Diploma holder with 5 years of experience in R&D or technical engineering dept are encourage to apply.

• Required language(s): Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English

• Mandarin & Japanese language will be an advantage

• Required skill(s): Advanced Solidworks skill drawing in 2D & 3D

• Advantage skill in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator

• Familiar with SolidWorks version 2022 & AutoCAD version 2024

• Knowledgeable on prototype 3D drawing and material specification

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

• Must have hands-on knowledge and experience in Testing / Product (Eg: Able to perform hand-on tasks such as evaluate the sample, identify problems, suggest improvements, and perform measurement tasks)

• Good in communication as need to interact and communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal team

• Past working experience in the Furniture industry will be added advantage.

• Ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues skills.

• Able to work independently with a high level of initiative.

• Possesses an eagerness to learn, creativity, and energetic

• Willing to work in Shah Alam and work under pressure.

• Can start immediately will be advantage.
