Job Responsibilities

1. Cost Reduction:
1) develop order policy for APAC & India together with Centralized Contract Center and other related organizations by collecting requirements/demand from R&D / factories and proposals / quotations from suppliers in Asia + India and reviewing global information from others.
2) Analyze total delivery costs in detail.
3) Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD.

2. Value Engineering:
1) propose alternative supplier which meets QCD requirements or propose alternative material based on benchmark study,
2) review with R&D and factories for joint direction,
3) Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD

3. Common:
- Learn Centralized Contract scheme and organization.
- Understand R&D and factory requirements / demand.
- Communication / Customer satisfaction: Listen to factory key players’ voice and/or review data to find opportunities for improvement, set mutual agreeable targets and accomplish them.
- Achieve team’s KPI’s for CD/ VE annual target.
- Prepare various management reports.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Fluent in English and Chinese language and great cross-cultural communication skills.

✓Experience in Procurement in steel industry or related industry.

✓Experience in analyze total delivery costs in detail.

✓Experience in negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD

✓Sense of responsibility or passion for professional work

✓Good understanding of trading or marketing

✓Basic knowledge of Steel and Steel industry.(Preferable)
