Principle Accountabilities (What are the main areas in which this job must get end results in order to achieve
its purpose)
1. Certification System Management
• Establish, implement, monitor, and review the certification system for Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001).
• Prepare and organize Food Safety and Management Review Meeting.
• Prepare and coordinate certification system audit.
• Promote a food safety culture within the company.
2. Product Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure food packaging meets applicable food safety regulations (e.g. FDA, EU, etc).
• Ensure electronic packaging meets applicable regulatory standards (e.g. RoHS, REACH, etc.).
3. Supplier Audits and Evaluation
• Audit suppliers for food safety and quality compliance.
4. Internal Audits
• Act as internal lead auditor to conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 standards.
• Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
5. Customer Support
• Respond to customer enquiries related to certification and product regulatory compliance.
• Support customer audits related to food safety and quality management standards.
6. Training and Awareness
• Provide awareness training on FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 system to relevant internal staff.
7. Document Control
• Act as a document controller to maintain compliance documentation for food safety and Quality Management standards.
8. Ad-Hoc Tasks
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓Qualifications: (List down to the minimum qualifications required)
Educational Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher academic certificate, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency in drafting manuals, procedures, work instructions, and document control practices.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of applicable product regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU, REACH, RoHS, etc.).
Experience: (List down the minimum years and type of experience required)
Minimum Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within food / food packaging, or plastic manufacturing industries.
Skills and Attributes:
• Resourceful and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments independently.
• Experience with supplier audits, regulatory documentation, and managing certification systems.
5. Authority and Other Responsibilities
Authority for the action on food safety:
• Report on food safety issue to Food Safety Team Committee.
Other Responsibilities:
• Perform manufacturing plant inspection regularly.
• Conform to Safety and Health policy of the company.
