1. Fire Protection System Management
•Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, suppression systems, and smoke ventilation.
•Ensure systems comply with NFPA, BS, AS, and local fire safety standards.
•Conduct risk assessments and propose fire protection solutions for various building types.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire services equipment and systems.

2. Project & Team Leadership
•Manage fire services engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
•Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
•Liaise with clients, architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire services into overall building designs.
•Prepare technical reports, specifications, and compliance documentation.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
•Ensure all fire protection designs and installations comply with local fire authority regulations.
•Conduct audits and inspections to verify system performance and adherence to safety protocols.
•Coordinate with authorities for fire system approvals and certifications.

4. Maintenance & Emergency Planning
•Develop preventive maintenance programs for fire systems.
•Establish emergency response plans and train personnel on fire safety procedures.
•Provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements based on technological advancements.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field

✓Minimum 5-10 years of experience in fire protection systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.

✓Experience managing teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

✓Proficiency in fire protection design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or Hydraulic Calculation software) will be added advantage.
