We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives across our portfolio in the LNG, palm industry, and biogas sectors. You will be responsible for identifying new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s footprint in clean energy and sustainable resource sectors. This role is key to aligning commercial success with sustainability goals and ESG commitments.

・Strategic Market Development: Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the LNG, palm-based biomass, and biogas industries.

・Investment Scouting: Identify potential M&A targets or joint venture opportunities that align with the company’s green investment strategy.

・Partnerships & Alliances: Build strong relationships with government bodies, corporates, technology providers, and industrial stakeholders.

・Deal Structuring: Lead or support deal structuring and negotiations for PPPs, concessions, or ESG-financed projects.
Proposal Management: Prepare compelling business proposals, investment decks, and tenders for public and private sector projects.

・Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with regulatory authorities on licensing, policy updates, and incentive programs.
Innovation Integration: Work with internal teams to introduce technologies such as waste-to-energy, renewable fuels, or carbon reduction systems.

・ESG & Sustainability Support: Ensure project development aligns with company goals for ESG, decarbonization, and circular economy outcomes.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field

✓ Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, preferably within the LNG, palm, or biogas sectors

✓ Strong industry network in Malaysia and/or Southeast Asia

✓ Proven experience in deal-making, partnership development, or investment proposals

✓ Knowledge of environmental regulations, licensing frameworks, and green financing instruments

✓ Strong analytical and communication skills -Passion for clean energy, innovation, and sustainability


Preferred Qualifications:

✓Experience with renewable energy systems, including palm waste valorization, biogas upgrading, or LNG infrastructure

✓Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainable finance

✓Exposure to M&A, project feasibility studies, or techno-commercial assessments

✓Understanding of carbon credits, certifications (e.g., ISCC, RSPO), or voluntary sustainability standards



Performance Indicators:

✓Growth of new project pipelines and revenue streams

✓Value and number of strategic partnerships or investments closed

✓Progress on ESG-driven initiatives and carbon reduction impact

✓Lead conversion rates and quality of business opportunities

✓Stakeholder engagement and satisfaction
