This is a generalist position where you will be responsible for a series of tasks related to the sales, marketing and distribution of the company's products as sales and technical sales staff, as well as negotiating as the customer contact for understanding internal production status and quality issues.

The position is also responsible for the development of new products and services, and the development of new business opportunities.

Overseas business trips (Europe, US, Asia, Japan, China)

- Coordination of manufacturing with own factory and Japan headquarters (whether the product has production capacity, whether delivery dates can be met, etc.)

- Handling estimates, costing, etc.

- Products handled include aluminum die-cast parts for automobiles, household appliances and OA equipment

QA

- At the start of a project for a new product, scrutinise how defective products are expected to be produced based on examples of previous products, take preliminary measures and make preliminary adjustments with the customer for each process.

Frame response to defective products:
1) Fact-checking with the customer and explanation to the customer (persistent negotiation that the product is not defective)
2) Fact-checking with the internal production department (to understand customer requirements)
3) Narrowing the gap between internal and customer views

- Quality improvement activities
- Setting internal quality standards
- Customer contact
- Defective products Analyse causes of defects when they occur
- Prepare reports on countermeasures and improvements
- Discuss quality defaults

- Visit domestic business partners and suppliers (several times a month), mainly in the Klang Valley and Nilai

- Visit overseas business partners (mainly in Thailand and Japan)

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Degree for Mechanical Engineering

✓Good communication in Japanese & English

✓Working experience using Japanese as engineer

✓Prefer Experienced in sales in the BtoB e.g. manufacturing or trading companies (regardless of industry)

✓Experienced in external negotiations and with sufficient background, even without sales experience

✓Driving licence

✓Able to travel abroad Those with experience in corporate sales in the automotive parts industry are welcome

✓We welcome those with experience in negotiating with business partners in English

✓We prefer those who can read drawings
