We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and oversee the marketing efforts for our drugstore brand in Malaysia.
This position is responsible for managing and guiding the entire marketing team, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of both online and offline marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will be expected to drive market analysis, competitor research, and the development of marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and sales. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing social media content, in-store promotions, and preparations for launching an online store, with a strong emphasis on cost-effectiveness and performance evaluation through the PDCA cycle.
Leadership & Team Management:
-Lead, manage, and mentor the marketing team to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
-Provide direction and support to team members, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
-Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution:
-Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
-Oversee the creation of both online and offline marketing campaigns, ensuring they are effective and aligned with the brand’s vision.
-Ensure all marketing activities are planned, executed, and delivered on time and within budget.
Market Analysis & Competitor Research:
-Lead market research efforts to gather insights on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors.
-Use market data to inform and optimize marketing strategies, ensuring they are responsive to -market dynamics and competitive pressures.
Campaign Effectiveness & Evaluation:
-Oversee the performance measurement of marketing campaigns, ensuring effectiveness and ROI.
-Use analytics and KPIs to assess the success of campaigns, applying the PDCA cycle to optimize marketing activities and improve results.
-Ensure that all campaigns are executed with a focus on cost-efficiency and achieving maximum impact.
Social Media & Digital Strategy:
-Manage the brand’s presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and other channels.
-Oversee content creation and digital advertising to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓5–7 years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
✓Proven track record in both online and offline marketing (including digital ads & social media)
✓Strong skills in market research, consumer insights, and competitor analysis
Experience managing budgets and executing cost-effective campaigns
✓Strong leadership and goal-oriented team management skills
✓Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industry
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and digital tools
Familiarity with design tools like Photoshop or Illustrator
