1. Human Resources Management
• Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for both office staff and production workers including operators.
• Foreign Worker & Expatriate Management: Oversee the recruitment, permit renewals (PLKS, Employment Pass, Resident Pass-Talent), FOMEMA screenings, housing (JTK compliance/Act 446), repatriation of foreign labour and Expatriate.
• Compensation & Benefits: Supervise payroll processing, EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB contributions, and annual bonus/increment reviews.
• Performance Management: Drive the annual appraisal cycle, KPI setting sync with ISO requirements and objectives.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs, manage the HRD Corp (HRDF) grant applications/claims, and coordinate safety and technical training.
2. Industrial Relations & Compliance
• Labor Law: Act as the subject matter expert on the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant Malaysian legislation.
• Disciplinary Management: Handle grievances, counselling, conduct domestic inquiries (DI), and issue warning letters or termination notices when necessary.
• Policy Development: Update and maintain the Employee Handbook and HR policies to align with current laws and Japanese corporate headquarters' standards.
3. Office & Factory Administration
• Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of factory premises and company hostel, including cleaning services, security services and canteen operations.
• Asset Management: Manage company assets, including office equipment, stationary supplies, and company vehicles/transportation.
• Licensing: Ensure all business licenses (MIDA, MITI, MBSA, LUAS, FMM, MEF) and statutory certifications are valid and renewed on time.
4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Collaborate with the Occupational Safety Health Coordinator and ISO consultant to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support audits for ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
• Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in HR & Admin, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
• Knowledge/Skills: In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and prevailing HR practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage given the company’s ownership).
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential data.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Payroll software (e.g. HR2000)
• Possess foundational knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Key Requirements
Must-have
1. Minimum 5 years of working experience as HR & Admin field with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
2. Experience in Manufacturing industry is a must.
3. Good in Foreign worker management.
4. Strong in administration, building and facility maintenance, vehicles maintenance.
Good-to-have
1. ISO experience (either ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)
2. Good communication and negotiation skill.
