• Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation of the finance department;
• Responsible for monthly management reporting and any ad-hoc reporting to the management and group;
• Responsible for statutory reporting and any external reporting requirements;
• Responsible for treasury function and cash flow requirement of the company;
• Responsible for monthly payroll processing and preparation of staff EA forms for the company;
• Yearly budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecast and analysis;
• Keep track of assets purchases and maintain proper record of assets of the company;
• Review monthly inventory and responsible for year-end inventory count;
• Responsible for inventory and asset insurance coverage and renewals;
• Issuance of Purchase Orders (PO) for product and ad-hoc purchases;
• Ensure company’s accounts are properly maintained and comply to accounting standards and group reporting guidelines;
• Review accounting policy and make revision when required;
• To liaise with the external auditors during year end audit and with internal auditor from time to time;
• Responsible for tax compliance and liaise with tax agents for yearly tax submission and review of tax computation;
• To liaise with company secretary on secretarial matters of the company;
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management from time to time

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

a) Professional qualification in Accountancy recognised by Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
b) At least 8 years of practical experience preferably in MNC and professional firm
c) Strong knowledge of accounting and Financial Reporting Standards i.e. MFRS
d) Preferably with SAP system experience such as SAP By Design
e) Possess good interpersonal skills, independent, self-driven and ability to deliver within tight deadlines
