- Knowledgeable in completing technical drawings and designing machines, the Mechanical Designer must first prepare calculations on the proposed machine or equipment’s.

- Able to compute tolerance, dimensions and thermal and structural analysis towards developing an effective mechanical design.

- Draft technical drawings using Autocad to transform the sketch and drawing derived from the team of
engineers and architects

- Experience and involve from preliminary designs towards completing the final design. A quality designs must comply with company procedure, regulations and client standards

- Experience in drafting of drawings and seeking approval leading towards obtaining final approved drawings for final construction phase. The mechanical designer shall also provide support during the building and installation process to ensure that the construction shall comply with the design specification.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering and/or any professional qualification in related fields or equivalent

- Min of 5-10 years' or more of experience in mechanical designing related jobs in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance

- MS Office and other related software skills

- Excellent skill in Autocad & construction 3D modelling
