• To assist in providing notice, information, legal & compliance support and advice to all Divisions/Departments concerning relevant applicable laws, regulations or internal rules & policies, and to ensure compliance thereto (including company law, competition law, anti-corruption law, personal data law, consumer laws, trademarks and other Intellectual Property laws);

• To provide timely legal support, legal advice, review, draft agreements and legal letters in support of
Divisions/Departments' commercial and business dealings to get to their goals faster and safer;

• To support HOD in providing legal & compliance support and advice to MMM's Management on
corporate and commercial matters or transactions, civil or commercial disputes, litigations,
intellectual property, personal data and other laws

• Assist in conducting legal watch and ensure comprehensive and on-going knowledge of emerging
legal & compliance trends and subjects, including keeping updated with development of applicable
laws, rules and regulations;

• To recognize potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop/implement corrective
action plans;

• To be able to effectively consult, supervise and manage external counsels when necessary;

• Supervision and management of litigations and civil / commercial disputes in accordance with company
Management's directions;

• To ensure sharing of best practices within the team and facilitates sharing of best practices across
business disciplines; and

• To support in conducting training for awareness & knowledge of MMM's employees on any legal
development, new laws (if any) and, compliance requirements and guidelines.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

• Recognized bachelor’s degree in Law (LL. B) from a reputable university;

• At least 5 years of PQE (post qualifications experience);

• Relevant experience with an established law firms as well as in house;

• A qualified advocate & solicitor;

• Flexible attitude in working outside of working hours (if necessary);

• Resourceful, adapt at legal research

• Commercial oriented, dynamic, and be able to grasp new issues quickly with minimum supervision

• Independent and possess strong stakeholder’s management skills

• Possess strong communication and analytical skills; Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa
Malaysia
