・Planning, executing and controlling the production schedule to meet weekly/monthly targets of quantity, quality, productivity and yields in a cost efficiency manner.

・Optimize company resources which include manpower, materials, facilities and machineries.

・Act as a liaison between the Japan HQ and the local manufacturing team, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment of objectives and processes.

・Translate documents, technical specifications, and instructions from Japanese to the local language (and vice versa) to ensure clear and accurate communication.

・Coordinate with Japanese colleagues regarding production schedules, quality standards, and project timelines, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

・Study, analyze, investigate and monitor for production/ process problem and opportunity for improvements.

・Supervise, lead and guide the teams to achieve Department Objectives/ KPIs

・Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing equipment and facilities, reporting any issues or maintenance requirements to the appropriate teams.

・Prepare and analyze production and quality report to improve effectiveness and efficiencies

・Adhere to safety & health rules throughout the plant by always ensuring safe working practices following OSHAS, DOSH/JKKP requirements.

・Support the training and development of manufacturing staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duty effectively.

・To assist in new order and ad-hoc tasks assigned.

・Stay updated with the industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the manufacturing field, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓ bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

✓ Minimum 7 years related working experience

✓ Fluent in Japanese (both written and verbal) is essential for effective communication with Japanese colleagues and stakeholders.

✓ Posses JLPT competency certificate (at least N3)

✓ Good knowledge in ISO Management system which including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

✓ Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment

✓ Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
