◆General restaurant duties:
Easy kitchen work includes dishwashing, preparing buckwheat dough, making Donburi (rice bowl), and cooking tempura >
- Responsible for food preparation.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, quantity temperature and presentation of each food served.
- Quick in food preparation and able to cope with fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ensure freshness of food ingredients and raw materials, keeping track of FIFO.
- Ensure minimum wastage in food preparation and washer duty.
- Maintaining the kitchen equipment / utensils at utmost cleanliness and hygiene.
- Any other duties as and when being assigned by manager
◆General customer services include Chaser, order, Floor, and toilet cleaning >
- Receive orders and serve customers requests completely in a timely manner.
- Understand menu content and any promotional activities.
- Keep your service area clean, tidy and well prepared including toilet area.
- Answer guests queries in a polite and helpful manner.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for restaurant guests .
- Any other duties as and when being assigned by manager
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓Experience 2 years working in the food and beverage industry.
✓ Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holiday.
✓ Good communication skills in English. If possible able to communicate Japanese and Malay (not compulsory).
✓ Good customer service manner, smiling, listen to customer, fast response
✓Interested in Japanese culture
✓Prefer to have own transport
✓Teamwork
