1. Monitor and ensure organizational adherence to the PDPA and related data protection laws.

2. Guidance on personal data processing activities and support the conduct of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

3. Oversee data breach and security incident responses, ensuring timely reporting to the Commissioner and affected individuals as mandated.

4. Act as the primary contact for data subjects and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner.

5. Assist in formulating and implementing data protection policies and training programs.

6. Maintain comprehensive records of data processing activities and DPO-related documentation.

7. Maintain a dedicated business email address for DPO communications.

8. Notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of the DPO appointment within 21 days via the official portal.

9. Publish DPO contact details on the company's website, data protection notices, and security policies.

10. Ensure adequate resources and direct access to senior management to effectively perform DPO duties.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

1. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Data Privacy, or a related field.

2. Certification in IAPP-A or CISSP or CIPM is an added advantage.

3. Minimum 3 years of working experience in data protection, compliance, or risk management.

4. Sound knowledge of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and local data protection requirements.

5. Proficient in both Bahasa Melayu and English
