・ Assist to monitor sales and marketing objectives through trade marketing programs to
strengthen business relationships and attain channel growth.
・ Plan and execute trade marketing strategies and plans for the assigned category and brand
portfolio.
・ Analyze both internal and external sales (Sell-in, Sell Through, Nielsen retail data and
Consumer Survey results) to identify distribution gaps, threats and opportunities for the
channels/retailers in assigned portfolio.
・ Analyze and monitor monthly brand and category achievements and propose remedial actions
for under achievements.
・ Monitor competitive activities and submit monthly reports to track frequency and types of
promotions taking place in the various trade sectors, documenting such activities for analysis,
reporting and future referencing purposes.
・ Identify sales gaps and work with the respective Key Account Executive/Manager to propose
close gap measures.
・ Develop, plan and execute channel strategies and trade promotions for key accounts and
trade channel to achieve sales objectives. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with the
positioning and potential of the accounts/channels.
・ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions to determine whether these
meet the Company’ objectives, and make recommendations for future promotions.
・ Identify and propose sales opportunities via details analysis (sales data, market information
and marketing survey) by developing solutions and initiate localized trade promotional
activities.
・ Interact with Sales & Marketing regarding deadlines/lead time required for promotions, pack/
price changes, new products, POSM and others in order to ensure on-time and effective
implementation.
・ Reports and proposal on competitor activities and brand evaluation through market survey.
・ Collaborate with partner stores on “planogram” and assortment proposal for the
improvement of the categories.
・ Support new product launches through new distribution tracking, planograms, in-store
visibility drive and timely roll-out in the trade.
・ Maintain good working relationship across all Divisions within the organization as well as
external business partners such as Trade Buyers and Distributors.
・ Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired
✓ Bachelor's/Professional Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
✓ Minimum of two (2) years of Trade Marketing experience within multinational FMCG
companies. Experience in beauty and cosmetics is a plus.
✓ Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is
advantageous.
✓ Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office, and social media platforms.
✓ A team player with a pleasant personality and strong interpersonal and communication skills
to establish good working relationships with internal and external parties.
✓ Ability to thrive in a team environment while also having the capability to work
independently.
✓ Highly motivated, organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a challenging and
fast-paced working environment.
✓ Experience with website and social media content updates and content writing is an added
advantage.
✓ Creativity and commercial awareness, especially in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care
industries, both online and offline.
