・Manage customs clearance procedures for imported merchandise, ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations

・Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies for smooth import processing

・Prepare and submit necessary import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and permits

・Handle tariff classification, import declarations, and duty/tax calculations

・Monitor the status of incoming shipments and resolve any issues related to customs delays or inspections

・Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and customs filings

・Communicate with customs authorities and ensure timely responses to queries or inspections

・Coordinate with the accounting and store teams to align delivery schedules and stock-in timing

・Stay updated on changes in trade regulations, customs procedures, and import compliance requirements

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCERequired

✓Prior work experience in import operations, customs clearance, or international logistics is preferred

✓Well understanding of customs procedures, import documentation, and trade compliance

✓Familiarity with Malaysian import laws and interaction with Royal Malaysian Customs is a plus

✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

✓Good English communication and coordination skills

✓Team player with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

✓Diploma or higher in logistics, international trade, business administration, or a related field is preferred

✓Japanese language ability is a plus, but not mandatory
